Search your own business name and the town in a browser where you are not signed in. That is what your customer sees, and it is not always what you see.
Signed in as the owner, you are shown your own view: everything you posted, everything you replied to. Signed out, you see the public version, which can be shorter. The difference is where most surprises live.
Read them newest first. Stop at the first one nobody answered. That gap is usually older than the owner thinks.
If a review you remember is missing, it was probably filtered rather than deleted by the customer. That has causes, and they are findable.
How to check it yourself:
1. Open your business in a private window, signed out.
2. Count the reviews there and compare with the number you see signed in.
3. Sort by newest and find the first one without a reply.
4. Note any review you remember that is not in the public list.
If the two numbers differ, say so here and we will look at why.
