[Countrywide] Ocean cliffs & dramatic sea drops: which spots give maximum views with a short approach?

Applies to the whole country (not tied to a single city). Use when the answer is the same everywhere in that country.

I’m collecting recommendations for ocean cliffs where you get a huge view without committing to a long hike.
This thread is for “park + 5–30 minutes walking” type places—plus safety notes that locals actually follow.

If you’ve been to a great cliff viewpoint, please share:
  • How long the approach really takes (and how technical it feels)
  • Whether there are railings / safe edges / clear paths
  • Wind exposure and what weather makes it dangerous
  • Whether it’s enjoyable in shoulder seasons (autumn/spring)
Which cliff viewpoint felt the most impressive per minute of effort—and what should visitors watch out for?

For maximum ocean drama with minimal effort, places like Kråkenes fyr are hard to beat: short walk from parking, sheer drops into the Atlantic, and paths clear enough that you don’t need mountaineering ambitions. Parts of Lofoten around Uttakleiv and Haukland also deliver big sea cliffs with quick approaches, but wind there can go from poetic to borderline offensive fast. From what I’ve seen, shoulder season is great for fewer crowds, but only if you respect gusts and don’t inch toward edges “for the photo.” Any other cliff spots where you get that wow-factor without earning it the hard way?
